About the Artist:

Lynn and her husband, Tim, and live in beautiful upstate New York in a log cabin they designed and built themselves. Says Lynn, " We love the hills, wildlife and starry skies that surround us. It's a great place to live and to create." The Adirondack Mountains to the north and the Catskill Mountains to the south provide additional inspiration.

Although she was a former art teacher, Lynn is fairly new to gourd art - she "discovered" the idea in 2007 when she saw a book by Ginger Summit and Jim Widess. She immediately began designing and creating her own gourds, bringing her work to several area craft shows, and has already won awards for her work. A Thomas gourd is indeed a work of art, and is a pleasure to own and to give as a gift.

Lynn's goal is to continue to develop new designs and techniques, and to share her work online and through select galleries and shops. She welcomes comments, inquiries and custom orders.
